Taylor Schilling attended a special screening yesterday for ‘Orange Is The New Black,’ presented by Netflix, at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica, California. Wearing neither orange or black, the actress took a lighter approach in her white angora, double-faced cotton halter top and belted, front-slit skirt from Calvin Klein’s Resort 2013 collection. While the wide buckle belt was worn loose and low on the runway, I found myself wishing it was cinched a bit more snugly on Taylor’s svelte frame. Neutral-toned, cross-strap pointy heels were a safer choice than the catwalk’s blocky platforms and added a retro flair. Throwing her blonde hair into an effortless, piece-y updo and flaunting a radiant, bronzed complexion, she exuded a cool Cali vibe. I'll admit it: I am guilty of not using sunscreen when I was younger. When I was in high school, my friends and I would literally grab a bottle of baby oil and go bake in the sun for hours. In fact, I'm pretty certain we used Crisco oil one time. I feel like we'd get arrested for doing that nowadays. And yes, I'm horrified that I spent all of high school and college doing stupid sh*t like that. My dad got on me all the time, asking if I'd applied any of his SPF 30. Ew. Why would I ever apply that white stuff that shields the sun? So I'd lie and say yes, and then be on my merry way with my dark tanning oil. I needed the best tan ever and it was the only thing I thought would work. I wear sunscreen religiously now–even though I don't love the way it feels. And I've learned that you can get a really nice sun-kissed glow with SPF. I was browsing through Target last week and noticed this sunscreen oil with SPF 50 from L'Oreal. It immediately made me think back to my dumber younger years, so I bought it. It smells incredible, isn't greasy and just so happens to be super nostalgic to me. And although I was scared I might fry in the sun and start looking like Tan Mom, it did indeed protect. If only this would have been around 15 years ago. She accessorized with nude Casadei stilettos, a wristful of bangles and a white Omega watch, along with effortless, loose waves. BONA Lucky Night: For the event at Peace Hotel, Zhang wore a glossy copper-and-black Andrew Gn dress that featured a bold tribal-inspired pattern.
