If you love acid wash, crop tops and mesh, you're in luck: Rihanna’s second collection for River Island launches today. The summer line embodies the 90s grunge-meets-hip-hop trend at it’s finest. From printed jumpsuits to mesh skirts, this collection is not for ladies who like to shop at Gap. In fact, Rihanna specifically designed the collection for her and her friends. She claims that the clothing is for days when she doesn’t feel so confident (which is hard to imagine, considering she just posted a picture of herself wearing a denim thong on Instagram). In a video about the collection, the singer-turned-designer admitted: I needed to make clothes for fat days that I have. I wanted to make clothes that I want to wear, I was being selfish. But hopefully my fans and the River Island customers will have the same taste. Sorry Rihanna, but we don’t know anyone who wants to wear a denim crop top on their fat days. However, there are people out there who admire singer’s fearless style, because as several items from her first collection sold out almost instantly.
