Celebrity blogger Jenna von Oy is a new mama! Best known for her roles as Six on Blossom and Stevie on The Parkers, von Oy is also a musician who has released two albums and is set to publish a book, The Betweeners. von Oy, 36, wed Brad Bratcher on Oct. 10, 2010, and resides in Nashville with her husband and five dogs. They welcomed their first child, daughter Gray Audrey, on May 21. She is now 1 year old. In her latest blog, von Oy takes a look back at her first year of motherhood – and shares the celebration with a giveaway for her loyal readers. Headed to a celebratory dinner – The Cradle Chronicles In one year, the earth completes a full revolution around the sun. During that time, there are 52 weeks, 365 days, 12 months, two equinox, and 525,949 minutes. For the majority of my 36 years on this planet, those have been my units of measurement for the passing of a single year … But all of that changed when my beautiful little girl arrived. Instead, the last year has been marked by a set of non-scientific facts and figures, and the only mathematical statistics my husband and I have charted can be found in an album with a label that reads, “This baby book belongs to Gray Audrey Bratcher.” A year’s worth of time has been tabulated by the number of words Gray has uttered, how far she has crawled, how many inches she has grown, and the hours we’ve spent cuddling. In fact, I’ve been so enchanted by her achievements that I even forgot my own birthday was this month (May 2nd), until my husband reminded me! I can tell you there have been 365 mornings of waking up to Gray’s wonderfully dimpled and sleepy smile, and 365 nights of singing her into slumber. There have been hundreds of dirty diapers, hugs and kisses that have numbered in the hundreds of thousands, and an infinite amount of thanks given for being blessed to have her in our lives. Yes, my baby is already one year old, and it blows my mind more than the Big Bang theory. (To clarify, I’m referring to the theory regarding the early development of the Universe. Not the CBS sitcom.) The first year went by faster than I could ask, “Oh my gosh, I really get to be mommy to this amazing, awe-inspiring child?” and “Are you sure I’m qualified?” Every day offers me defining moments that prompt me to marvel at it all. Having the chance to witness Gray’s daily discoveries is a constant joy for Brad and I, and we cry through happy tears each time she moves from one phase into the next. I suspect many of you have experienced something similar. Over the last 12 months, we have watched her accomplish the traditionally notable firsts such as: smiling, laughing, waving, clapping, crawling, pulling up on furniture, cutting teeth, tasting solid foods, saying “Daddy” and “Mommy” and taking her first step. But there have been other subtler moments too — ones that crept in slowly and seeped into our hearts, never to be forgotten. Some of my favorites include the first time she laid her head on my shoulder to take a nap, the first time she opened her mouth and leaned in to offer me a fantastically slobbery kiss, all of the times she has smirked wryly at something I’ve said, and her nightly ritual of petting our puppies. There are activities that signify our time spent together: reading The Hungry Caterpillar in French, walking through our neighborhood and talking about the trees, singing and signing the ABCs, riding the local carousel, planting our vegetable garden, traveling to both the East and West Coasts, and making up silly ditties about ladybugs and bumblebees. It’s the question most every working mother inevitably asks herself: can I have it all? The answer you may not be expecting to hear… It depends on your situation and your own definition of ‘having it all.’ Most working women face much more difficult life circumstances. Some are single mothers; many struggle to find any job; others support husbands who cannot find jobs. Many cope with a work life in which day care is either very expensive or unavailable; school schedules do not match work schedules; and schools themselves are failing to educate their children. Many of these women are worrying not about having it all, but rather holding on to what they do have. Mind you, that’s real life, not Hollywood! I’m not saying the mothers of the world can’t make it happen — they can and do all the time with the right mindset. Speaking of Hollywood, almost everyone I know has nannies, personal assistants and chefs. Yes, I said chefs! However, in my colleagues’ defense, working 15-hour days on set doesn’t exactly make it easy to be the next June Cleaver. It’s incredibly challenging, as it is for all us working moms. You must have help in order to obtain a healthy family life while keeping up with the grind of the entertainment industry. I was lucky enough to have my mom nanny for me while working full time. I knew I couldn’t care for my son and deliver lines at the same bloody time, so having the best care taker was my number one priority. Don’t forget, I chose to be a working mother, some women don’t have the luxury of picking and choosing their next television series. It was a privilege that I never once took for granted. All this Hollywood talk brings me to this… I call it ‘funny money.’ You get paid a lot working in this industry. So, it’s really unfair to compare others who are just getting by like my own mother did. She had three of us, divorced, and had no choice but to work hard for everything she got. I respect it, as it was how I was raised and all I knew. While working with a hectic travel schedule, press, and the stress of having my own series on my shoulders, it was extremely demanding. Ultimately, it cost me a 10-year marriage while giving me extreme mommy guilt. That’s one of the reasons I chose to take a Hollywood break. I wanted to be on the other side of the white picket fence, to wake up with my children, make dinner and be the mother I wasn’t able to be. Now that I’m back at it again with my upcoming whirlwind schedule, it’s all about balance. This is where my 16-year parental experience comes in handy! I don’t know if you’re like me, but I’m horrible at taking time for myself. I put everyone’s troubles before my own — it can be draining and exhausting at times. I’ve learned how to become a balanced mom, wife and friend. Also, I am learning my own definition of ‘having it all.’ I can tell you this, it’s certainly not about being on the number one show in the world or being on the next magazine cover. It’s about being present in every thing I do. No matter what adversity life throws at me, my children know how important they are and that I can always be depended on. The New York Knicks forward and wife Alexis have welcomed their fourth child — a son — Stoudemire, 30, announced via Twitter on Wednesday. “We are proud to announce we added a healthy baby boy to the Stoudemire team,” he writes. “Alexis and the baby are doing great. #Blessed” The couple, who married in December in New York City, shared the pregnancy news in January. The newlyweds are already parents to children Ar’e, 7, Amar’e Jr., 6, and Assata, 4. “As soon as Amar’e walks into the door those kids are all over him,” Alexis tells PEOPLE. “He’s like a big kid. NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis have welcomed their fourth child. Proud papa Amar’e took to Twitter today to announce the news to his fans. “We are proud to announce we added a healthy baby boy to the Stoudemire team this morning,” the Knicks forward tweeted. “Alexis & the baby are doing great.#Blessed” The new addition joins siblings Ar’e, Amar’e Jr. and Assata. The Stoudemires married in December of 2012 and plan to have another wedding celebration this summer.

Josh Kelley took a photo of a happy Naleigh, 4, and shared it via Instagram on Saturday (May 18). He wrote: “Naleigh is lovin the southern life of New Orleans!!! We just destroyed 6 pounds of crawfish. Love them mudbugs.” The family are down in Louisiana because Katherine Heigl is shooting her new movie North of Hell there. Katherine tweeted earlier this month: “First day of filming in the fantastical NOLA! My director and fearless leader Anthony Burns!” Josh is also working on the film. Jenna Dewan-Tatum is one of the best dressed expectant celebrity moms!  Jenna was seen strolling around London again today with her two trusty sidekicks: her dogs.   Jenna look fantastic and fashionable in black leggings with a cute sweater and black top, paired with sunglasses. Jenna has been keeping herself busy while Channing Tatum is filming his latest flick with Mila Kunis.  Jenna and Channing must be counting down the days until baby’s arrival.  Hopefully Channing will be done with filming before their little one makes his or her appearance! Ivanka Trump showed off her barely-there baby bump at the ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ season finale party in NYC.   Ivanka announced last month that she and husband Jared Kushner are expecting their second child together later this fall. Ivanka hit the red carpet in a short print cocktail dress and black strappy sandals.  In a few of the shots you can just barely see the hint of a baby belly.  I’m sure it won’t be long until we’re seeing her great maternity style hit the streets of NYC.
