With the recent barrage of banging ASICS Gel Lyte III colabs, German sneaker store Afew enlisted the skills of artist Kwillis for this limited edition T-Shirt. It commemorates 12 of their favourite GL III colourways to date – have a peek dead centre, bottom line and see if you recognise that little number. Yep, it's our 'Alvin Purple' colab from a few years back!

eBreez3 does it again. Not only was he able to masterfully create the “Tiffany” V’s, but he also put in a great amount of effort into these Air Jordan XI‘s. Using an original Air Jordan 11 as a base, eBreez3 starts off by touching up the inner sole to a smokey-grey shade. Giving the jump man logo a shade of red gives the sneaker an edgier look. The mid-sole was given a stealthy-metallic grey finish which reveals the beauty of the sneaker.  The outer-sole was accented with black to tie in with the shoelaces. Overall, this custom deserves some recognition. This should definitely raise some eyebrows and start up some creative competition within the sneaker-head community. Yesterday, we showed you a leaked pic of the upcoming Concepts x Asics collaboration, the Gel Lyte III “Three Lies”, one of three upcoming Asics collaborations (the other 2 by Ronnie Fieg and Chicago boutique St. Alfred). The only thing we had besides the grainy photo (taken from a page out of Sneaker Freaker magazine) was the ominous name “Three Lies”, which somehow was tied to the shoe. Well, today, we shine light on the inspiration of the shoe, thanks in no small part to a pic from Instagram user Derek Curry; the shoe is inspired by the John Harvard statue that sits in Harvard Yard, a mere 5 min. walk from the Concepts store. As seen in the picture below, the navy/brown colorblocking scheme on the upper, while bearing resemblance to Ronnie Fieg’s 2011 collaboration with Asics (the “Salmon Toe” Gel Lyte III), is actually inspired by the feet on the John Harvard statue, which has become known locally as the “Statue of The 3 Lies”. The toecap of the left foot of the statue is shiny, due to a tradition of rubbing the foot for good luck, of which lots will be needed in order to secure a pair of these sure-to-be highly sought-after kicks. No release date has been set currently, but be sure to keep it locked with Sneaker Files, as we’ll keep you updated whenever that info becomes available. What do you think of this release? Debuting at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2013 in Italy, BMW and the equally legendary customizing team at Roland Sands Designs present the Concept Ninety, which nicely blends the best of classic bikes with the new technology and power of today’s two-wheelers. Initially inspired by the 1973 BMW R 90 S – the powerhouse of its day – the Concept Ninety picks up a sculpted tank and tail that is coated in the R 90 S’ famed racing orange. Within the body, an air-cooled flat-twin boxer engine coated in black turns the seven-spoke wheels, designed to mimic the old-school flavor of the original. BMW believes this is the perfect blend of heritage and technology and you’ll be hard pressed to find much that can compare. The "Hangover 3" actor wore a pair of faded two toned polarised sunglasses, a very clever choice to hide tired and weary eyes but also not come across as pretentious to wear sunglasses in dim light conditions. Let's face it: they have busy promotional schedules, we are working longer hours too. A good night's sleep is really a luxury these days, and a good pair of shades hide all sins.
