After a slew of themed releases including 'The Crocus', 'Legal Issues' and 'Swedish Meatballs', Sweden's Sneakersnstuff are taking a break from storytelling with their latest Reebok Question Mid collaboration. "We liked the colour combination and that's it," they explained. "We have tried to come up with a story after we did the shoe. But nothing comes up. We just think it's a nice looking shoe, and we hope you will do too." Yep... we dig it. The shoe comes in a sublime blend of aqua and burgundy suede floating upon a beefy white midsole. Check out a gang of pics of the kicks below as well as a video featuring SNS Co-Founder Erik Fagerlind talking about their 2013 Reebok rollout. The Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question Mid 'A shoe about nothing' drops May 29 in-store and online, check the full release details here. Today at Sneaker Files, we bring you a first look at another version of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, this time in a “Blackout” colorway. It is unknown whether this shoe will ever see the light of day, but as sneakerheads, we can hope, can’t we? Featuring an all-black upper mixing mesh with leather customized with a scaled, reptilian pattern, and a black sole, these would most definitely be a hit if Nike decided to produce these bad boys. I know I’d cop a pair (or, rather, “try” to cop a pair)! What do you think of this colorway? Hope to see it release? Hate all-black shoes? Ironically, it was DJ Folk, the DJ of Young Jeezy – who dropped the hood-classic cut “All White Everything” – that leaked this image of the “All Black” Yeezy 2. Regardless of the contradiction in colors, props to you, sir! Via @DJFolk (Twitter)

The introduction of the Air Jordan I (1) ’93 is a perfect example of how combining 2 awesome things does not always equal another awesome thing (look at the “rock rap” of Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock if you need further proof). For those unfamiliar with the Jordan 1 ’93, this Frankenstein of a creation takes the shape of the Air Jordan 1 Mid and mashes it up with features of the Air Jordan VIII, namely the fuzzy Jumpman logo on the tongue and the padded grooves around the heel. Jordan Brand must feel like they’re doing something right, because they continue to release new colorways of this shoe, evidenced by the May 4th release of the “Bright Citrus” colorway, and these, set to release on June 1st. The Jordan 1 ’93 “Electric Green” features a loud White/Electric Green/Black/Gym Red colorway, reminiscent of the Jordan Aero Flight “Macho Man” that released last September. It kind of reminds this writer of a Mexican side dish, with the Electric Green reminiscent of limes, the Black representing black beans, and the Gym Red representing a spicy salsa; the white, of course, represents the chips, creating a “nacho” vibe, which is great, because I am obviously “nacho” friend if you buy these for me for my birthday, simply put. However, this is just this one writer’s opinion; if you like these, great! To each his own. Individuality is the spice of life… I think. Or maybe that was something else… What do you think about this crazy creation? Love the bright and loud colorway? Detest this monstrosity of a shoe? Hungry after the nacho reference? Let us know in the comments below, and enjoy some more pics after the jump! Available at Nike.com on June 1st Via Nike.com (Jumpman23)

This gadget may be just a bit larger than a soda can, but, man does it pack a punch. As with anything wearing the JBL name, this Charge Portable Speaker has the capacity to deliver powerful sound and, with its compact size and other built-in features, it is able to completely cover all your summer-time music bases. In addition to being portable, this JBL can also connect to your music sources via Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm analog input jack, or a USB port, meaning it can not only blast tunes from your phone, it can charge it up in the process (hence the name). Its exterior is also pretty appealing, made with a durable plastic fitted with two 1.5 inch speakers firing through a metal grille while strips on its side allow for the speaker to be set vertically or horizontally. Considering the unit is rated to last 12 hours, has JBL sound quality, is very compact, and can charge your phone — what else could you ask for out of one of your gadgets? Find it now online at select shops, including Amazon, in several colorways.Read the rest of JBL Charge Portable Speaker © pmallory for FreshnessMag.com, 2013. | Permalink | No comment | Follow us: Facebook | Twitter Post tags: JBL
