No calamari, no pig on spit, no ouzo garden. Tradition lost... If you want to see plenty of the same ol, same ol Street Fair Vendors, come to Ninth Avenue Food Fest... Used to be a fine chance to sample ethnic foods from all the Ninth Ave small ethnic restaurants of the 1970s, 80s, and 90's. All a samey plethora of beer and sports bars now... Yawn.These poor Men of Broadway can't even afford shirts. Join me in pitying them.Another insane week on tap... My year at work as been unrelenting in pressure... And late May is no exception... Promises to keep me going at full throttle skidding into the end of the fiscal year...Three day weekend for Memorial Day to be especially appreciated this year...Day at a time....
