This modern designed watch is idling so high on the opportunity timepiece racetrack that it happens to be a limited edition collectible and as such may vanish before you can finish reading this article.TNT Silverstone Racing Chronographe showcases with a sporty 39 mm diameter 316L stainless steel case which is 14.50 mm in height and proudly displays Torsten Nagengast Timeline’s signature TNT logo on the dial at 12 o’clock. The case features a substantial black bezel with a tachymeter scale displaying white Arabic numerals.  It is adorned with a masculine satin-brushed stainless steel bracelet which adds to its already inimitable speed driven character.Silverstone Racing Chronographe is available for pre-order in two dial color options: black with white sub-dials or white with black sub-dial. Both watch models feature three sub-dials located at 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The hour/minute hands are facetted with a luminous coating on the tips of the hands.    TNT Silverstone Racing Chronographe houses a high performance ETA automatic chronographe movement and is an Officially Certified Chronometer Chronographe. The dial and movement are carefully preserved under a shatter-proof resistant Hesalithe crystal, synonymous of the TNT brand.Silverstone Chronographe sports a cleverly designed caseback which resembles a tire rim lugs and all. The ornate caseback is engraved and displays: Silverstone by Torsten Nagengast Timeline, Officially Certified Chronometer Chronographe, Limited Edition 01/99, 10 ATM Water Resistant and Swiss Made.Again Silverstone Chronographe is a limited edition watch of only 99 pieces and as such it is selling worldwide. Perpetuelle readers know that I am a fan of Dodane (see my earlier reviews here), the little known but promising watchmaker from the Besançon region of France (right by the Swiss border).   In fact, the more I see from the brand the more I like it.  For those of you in the Baltimore / Washington DC / Annapolis area, a special event is being hosted at Little Treasury Jewelers this coming Wednesday, May 22, 2013.  If you are in the area and can make the event, it would be totally worth your time. The U.S. distributor for Dodane (and friend of Perpetuelle) Totally Worth It will also be on hand.  The event will feature, among other pieces, Dodane’s new Type 23 chronograph with yellow dial, #1 of the series.  I absolutely love their yellow dial, specifically done to increase readability by a pilot — and striking enough to wear around town.
